The Presidente Inter-Continental Cozumel

Business and Pleasure

Just over the horizon from the Mexican mainland, surrounded by the dazzling sapphire waters of the Caribbean, lies Cozumel. With over 50 dive spots, crystal-clear water, fantastic underwater flora and fauna and centuries-old shipwrecks, the island has long been popular with diving enthusiasts, and as Cozumel's only luxury property there's no finer way to experience the pristine coral sands, calm turquoise lagoons and lush green flora of this island retreat than at the AAA/Four Diamond Presidente Inter-Continental Cozumel.

In addition to being a big draw for divers, the hotel's distinctive design of dramatically angled open-air corridors, swooping ceilings and 253 contemporary-styled, marble-floored rooms attract a variety of guests from honeymooners to families with children. And in addition to diving, snorkeling and deep-sea fishing, guests at the resort-style Presidente Inter-Continental Cozumel can enjoy tennis, windsurfing, sailing and jet-skiing or simply relax in our pool or laze the day away on our white, coral-sand beach.

With award-winning gourmet dining in a spectacular open ocean-view setting, attentive service and fully equipped meeting facilities that can accommodate groups of up to 300, you can spend your time here, whether for business or pleasure, with people who take your comfort and satisfaction just as seriously.

The Presidente Inter-Continental Cozumel is located on nearly 1000 feet of the island's most prized white sand beach, overlooking the channel between the island and the mainland. The property is only minutes from the colorful and abundant coral reefs that have made the island one of the world's top snorkeling and diving destinations.

Only 15 minutes from the airport, the hotel is also just seven minutes south of San Miguel, the island's one small town, which offers a handful of appealing restaurants and shops. Visitors often travel around by bicycle and have little fear of strolling the beaches, even at night, and are warmly welcomed by the locals, most of whom are of Mayan descent.

When you return to your room, you can enjoy one last look at the moonbeams reflecting off the sea as most of our 253 rooms and suites have private terraces overlooking the ocean. Each is decorated in a pleasing, contemporary style, with white cedar paneling, polished marble floors and bright Mexican fabrics bringing the gaiety of the Caribbean indoors. And Inter-Continental amenities, common to all rooms, are everything you'd expect from a AAA/Four Diamond-rated hotel.

Dining at the Presidente Inter-Continental Cozumel is as fresh and casual as the island itself. At El Arrecife, our AAA/Four Diamond award-winning restaurant, you can savor delectable Mediterranean cuisine in a contemporary Mexican setting as you take in a spectacular view of the ocean.

Room Service is available 24 hours. Guests may consult their Room Dining Directory for full menu details.

Visit the Caña Brava Beach Bar for a refreshing cocktail or the El Caribeño Restaurant and Bar for live music and all-day outdoor dining.

Besides serious fun in the sun, Cozumel is also the perfect destination for a business incentive, or even a meeting, as the hotel is located less than ten minutes from the international airport.

Meeting facilities for business travelers can accommodate groups of up to 300. An experienced Food and Beverage department can cater to the needs of conventioneers, weddings, professional and association groups in the suites or the hotel's two banquet rooms, which host events and meetings for up to 200.

Renowned as the number one scuba-diving location in the western hemisphere and one of the top five in the world, Cozumel combines spectacular coral reefs and exceptionally azure waters with over 200 species of tropical fish - a diver's haven.

With the visibility in Caribbean waters ranging up to a stunning 200 feet, divers can marvel at Cozumel's 20 miles of reef, which includes the second longest in the world and also rare black coral and underwater limestone caves and tunnels.

There is no better place in México for a thrilling underwater adventure than Cozumel, and with the "Scuba Du" PADI Dive Center and shop, located in the hotel, you have excellent access to equipment and tuition.
